The former line queue for the Back Lot Stunt Coaster (formerly Italian Job Stunt Track) was demolished in order to create room for a new midway, which services the existing Orbiter ride, the Back Lot Stunt Coaster, and Behemoth. The ride was officially opened on April 24, 2008 for media day. It was also opened on April 25, 2008 for season pass holders from 5pm to 10pm, which was known as Season Pass Preview Night. [edit] Trains Behemoth's trains feature staggered seating, never before seen on a Bolliger & Mabillard roller coaster. Each of the three trains comprise eight cars, seating four guests each for a total capacity of 32. Riders are restrained by lapbars with no interlocking seatbelts into the fiberglass and steel trains. Behemoth is a steel roller coaster at Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. Upon opening in May 2008, it is Canada's tallest and fastest hyper roller coaster. Behemoth is modelled similarly to Goliath at La Ronde (but is taller and longer) and Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure. However, unlike the aforementioned B&M coasters, Behemoth features trim brakes near the crests of each of the large camelback hills as a means of regulating speed and airtime. The roller coaster is situated north-west of the Back Lot Stunt Coaster and south-west of Splash Works. The ride opened to season pass holders on April 25, 2008 and to the public on May 4, 2008.
